Not so much a theory

more a nagging worry at the back of my mind. It just seems to me that replacing Svennson with Thorne, and getting rid of Eddy so that we had two sign two new right backs instead of one, don't seem to be transfers that can be justified on footballing grounds. In fact they seem just plain stupid. So I wonder why they happened.
