If you want to use mobile data (i.e. internet) at somewhere like Carra Rud, try using an old phone using a 2G network (GSM / GPRS) rather than 3G (UMTS).

Simple version is: GSM / GPRS is all about bandwidth - it might go slower but if you can get on, you can reach the websites. UMTS is all about power and the more people use it withing a particular cell, the radius of the cell's reach will actually shrink, creating a dead spot (i.e. a position where there is normally coverage but is no more).

I can imagine it's very likely that situation can occur when you have 26,000 people in a very small space, many of them trying to access live scores using 3G phones.

So, sometime try using an older 2G phone - I bet it works better.
