It is all very samey, yeah.

but that's NME for you. Still, you can't deny those were all fairly decent albums that put a bit of fresh air and variety into a tired music scene.

I'd recommend any of PJ Harvey's albums prior to Stories and I'll agree to disagree with you about Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I bloody love them to bits.
