You see I've done all that stuff

this is why I'm getting concerned. I did take off the output pipe at the sink and degunged that a few minutes ago so hoping that that's going to help a bit.

PErhaps it's just getting a bit old.

Take the spline grommet off the rotary wangle nipple, this is next to the water inlet
