I think perhaps you should leave the bedding plants well alone...

...produces workman like performances around the house...I have a cellar, but it's full of s**t so can never be used as a bedroom but our front room often is, but it's still not a real bedroom or a bedding plant for that matter...stick to cacti - much more rewarding in a pointy type of way, don't need to take on water too much either which is always a bonus, less visits to either of the toilets...
