It's No Just Big, It's Magnificent
Robbie Savage is 'Football's Mr Marmite' according to his column in The Daily Mirror, and there's one man who doesn't exactly think he's the best sandwich spread in the cupboard.
Savage writes this morning: 'Dion Dublin doesn't like me. How do I know? Did he tell me to my face? No he was brave enough to tell a few million Sky viewers last Friday after Derby's win against Coventry - when he knew I was safely celebrating in our dressing room.'
Firstly Robert, a few million for Derby v Coventry?
Anyway, it seems that Robbie has a few problems with Dion himself. 'If anything, I should be the one who dislikes him,' says Savage.
'What surprises me is that many journalists tell me Dion was hardly very forthcoming and co-operative with the press when he was a player. Now he fancies making a few quid as a media pundit. I'll let others decide whether that is hypocrisy,' he continues, as well as 'I used to look up to Dion while I was a kid at Old Trafford and he was briefly on the edge of the first team.'
Ouch.
But does Robbie say those things to Dion's face? No, he writes them in his Mirror (average daily circulation 1.3million) column.
