your own clothes instead of shirt and trousers

When I needed to, I'd wait for a sale

You'd walk into a 15% off sale, get to the counter with ?50 of stuff.

They send you coupons like ?2.50 off if you spend ?30, or ?5 off if you spend ?50

They usually let you have the 15% and the coupon, as long as you paid on the card

So you'd get to the till and have ?50 discounted down to ?38, and walk out happy

All subject to whether you stick to paying it off straight away, instead of being bogged down in 30% apr

Pay it off straight away and it's doddle
