Back home from Swindon

A very average first half with chances at both ends and only a fag papers width between the teams.

We started the second half well but soon ran out of ideas and puff. I was happy with penalties - in the last fifteen minutes there was only one team going to win it and it wasn?t City.

Plus points (1) - defensive organisation. We kept our shape and our discipline even though we were not playing well, and the ball was coming back at us.
Plus points (2) - pens were brill. They must have been practising.

Minus points (1) - despite scoring the winning pen Jamie was dreadful.
Minus points (2) - McVeigh was as dreadful as Jamie. No pace and his legs have gone.

Happy just to get through to the next round and another amazing City away following.
