this marks a trend. Most news producers are looking for ways to limit their free content because ads simply don't produce enough revenue.
I happen to know a bit about this because my company is forever trying to do the same thing, and the CEO was heard to mutter a while ago that he "couldn't wait until this s**t of free internet content has come to an end"
