It's the way you do this.

You don't agree with me, it never works out well if I expand on why I don't. You will only do what you have done if you look at what you've said so far

And as for using the term assumption above

I'll use it in the plural in this instance

I can't let you know what I think, you're intent on ripping it to shreds if you don't agree (because you think it's rubbish)
