Mercedes already have a big stake in McLaren, so i guess they don't see it as a problem

(or maybe didn't see Brawn coming...) Renault have been supplying Red Bull's engines for a couple of seasons now and with Adrian Newey at Red Bull they've got to have known there was a real possibility of being beaten by a customer team - similar to Williams and Toyota
