I just found out something cruelly amusing

a friend was doing a Land's End to John O Groat's sponsored bike ride. All went well, didn't even have a punture or any other problems, then apparently he did a quick turn of the head to look at some girl and cricked his neck so badly he had to pull out of the race/ride/thing...

just 5 miles from the finish line!
