I don't think it would go down well, but wasn't the rumour that Gunn got to buy these players based on a sale of Wesley, and then he decided he wanted Wes to stay as well.
So at some point the books have to be balanced. I didn't think from that interview with Bowkett that sales had been ruled out.
And I'm fairly certain that the initial shunning of Rusty and Hoolahan was because the expectation was that they weren't going to be around.
I don't want it to happen, and I have to think that things like getting the tv revenue on Saturday will help to avoid some of this. But I can't see us turning down a good offer.
