love aguirre, fitzcarraldo, stroszek, grizzly man, little dieter needs to fly

saw him do a Q&A about his antarctica documentary earlier in the year. he's a great talker, very funny and interesting. really recommend going to see him if you get a chance anywhere, and reading all his interviews/books, listening to his dvd commentaries

there's a translation of his diaries from the fitzcarraldo shoot in the rainforest which looks intriguing

i'm not hopeful about this bad lieutenant film though
