they gave the man a budget, a good budget compared to other bottom-half championship teams

you back him, you back his judgement you let him decide how he spends the money and let him bring in the players that he wants to with the money that you've given him

he spends all that money on players that aren't good enough, even though he claims he's brought in the 2 best full-backs in the division, we do not have a bottomless pit of money - that does not equate to not backing the manager
