The Times They Are A'Changin...

For so long, we were "little old Norwich" -even when we finished 3rd in the Prem, even when, at Christmas that year, when we were 8 or so points clear at the top of the Premiership, we were still the minnows, had no chance of winning it, ditto in Europe the following season and ever since then, as well as all the years beforehand...

People say "Roy Keane' s Ipswich" as if thats the new name of the club. We also had "Cash Strapped Leeds United FC" a few years ago, latterly we have had "Crisis Club Portsmouth FC" and "Liverpool In Turmoil FC". Well, we've been "Little Old Norwich City FC" for a lot longer-and is has suited people at the club, who have fed on, and perpetuated the myth, myth, yes, because we never needed to be "Little Old", at least, not in outlook, which seems to have always been the case. Anyway...

Look at us now. A major player in League One, listen to the reaction of the Paulton Chairman to drawing us in the Cup...

...to land a Norwich game is beyond our wildest dreams. What a great club with so much tradition who were only recently in the Premiership. You see how many fans they took to Carlisle and Yeovil in the league and it just underlines what a great occasion it will be...

Hell, I hope he tells a few people at Norwich just how "great" we are, and about our "tradition" etc etc!

I know its all relative, but even so...thats how he sees us, shame some others don't or won't or can't!

Meanwhile, over on Oink Un' everyone is predicting that Lamberts frustration over the lack of cash is going to lead to his quitting and you know what, I think some of them actually hope he does! Unbelievable!!
