I lived in Walthamstow for many years and always marvelled at it's ethnic and cultural mix. I still fail to see a problem.

Griffin is deliberately using emotive language - he wants to imply that white people have been systematically chased out of their homes by those less deserving. Of course, there are many reasons why communities coalesce - most of them economic rather than racial.
