He's got a point there to be honest

London's population is not typical of most British cities and the audience would have been very different in most other places in the UK.

I don't know the stats but as someone who lives and works in London it would not surprise me at all if "white british" people (which i think is the relevant census description) living in London are not very close to being a minority.
