He's not actually guilty of anything. He was offered a job, he had a go, and he wasn't any good which was understandable considering he's no experience even at reserve level
The people responsible for this happening, are the ones again, who've quietly got off lightly, Despite a profile of doing this and getting it wrong on a regular basis
If his sacking was to do with McNally then it's a fresh start on his merits as a leader
I can imagine many won't see it like that, and if we're back on track in the next couple of seasons, many will probably point the plaudits back at Delia, which be something for another time that will be equally baffling
