The point is, that at no point, has he said "Terrible result the Colchester one" or "We should have done better at Charlton".

And McNally criticised him for this response. Which seemed fair to me. I honestly think that offering a small apology might ahve actually given him a little bit longer. But if he failed to do this publicly, then you tend to think he may have been even more arrogant - oh sorry self-confident- privately. I truly don't believe he thought there was anything wrong, which is why I constantly have said that I think after Colchester, he thought like a goalkeeper (one bad game) rather than a manager.
