OK. Here's the admission. It was two

Went to Edmonton - which was OK, but they'd run out of the bed we, and Hawes jr, wanted.

But they told us Croydon had it.
And we needed a bed for next weekend, when have someone staying.

So we gritted our collective teeth and drove through the misery that is Brixton, Streatham etc, all the way to Croydon.

And they didn't have it.

Hawes jr will be sleeping on a mattress on the floor for a while, and I'll be hating IKEA.
