Further to the kids chat from earlier...

It's the greatest thing in the world having them, and the worst thing in the world not having them in your life all the time.

It makes the times you do see them all the more special, and the fact you can share in what they're interested in is fantastic; as an example I voluntarily watched High School Musical on my own the other day, purely because I know my little girl loves it and I want to be able to engage her in things she knows about.

They're also the major reason why I came back from France.
