Of course teams get corners and free kicks near the end of games. And they get them near the beginning. And in the middle.

But why would a set-piece specialist not be good enough to start (everyone seems to agree that) but be worth having on near the end? Is it that you think we get more set-pieces? Or that the stuff he doesn't do becomes less important as the games goes on?
