Heskey isn't great, but he's good at winning the ball and creating space.

If you want your No. 9 to score goals then he's not your man, but he links Rooney and the attacking midfielders - all of whom play better when he's in the side - better than anyone else.

I don't see any point in taking both Defoe and Bent, and I think Defoe has the edge at the moment.
