...which made me thing about when I were a young chap, me and my chums used to go up to the walkway over Grapes Hill and try to spit on the cars as they drove up or down the road (much harder to hit those coming down the hill; also if there was a strong wind you always ran the risk of hitting those minding there own business walking along the pavement with a big greenie - it was all much trickier that it sounds)..

When we did hit one it always made a lovely reassuring *ther-wunk* sound invariably followed by the driver getting out of his car and shake his fist at us in a pesky kids fashion as we ran like bloody f**k...

Did anyone else do that (we did see others)?..
