He's one of those good players that has the more than occasional rush of blood to then head that people remember more than what he is actually good at (ie) being an old fashioned "stopper".
Michael Duberry very similar to him in that aspect. Ditto Richard Dunne, ask any Man City fan-most of them wanted him replaced by the end of last season for that same reason, he just hasn't had a silly moment at Villa...yet!
