Cos I've seen him even when we can't do anymore in a division. So from there, he's always going to have a point if he's so damning of the team that can't achieve anymore in that year

Instead of celebrating at Crewe, you know his persona was more likely "no time to be cheery, we need to stay up next year or it was all for nothing"

Once people get sick of that, he clearly just thrives on the attention
