I remember hating Scargill as a young teenager. But then my mum & dad had the daily mail.

To my eternal shame I hated the miners too.

He f**ked that dispute up big time & let down the miners. Handled it really badly.

Everything they said & predicted was right - why the f**k he didn't ballot for an official strike & make it 'legit' god only knows.
