100g plain flour
1 egg
300ml milk
combine all, whisk well, leave to stand for 30mins to allow flour to swell.
meanwhile put 6 lincs sausages in flame proof dish (9"x6") in oven 220 degrees till golden - then add batter mix, bake for further 20 mins. Dont bother will adding oil to the dish as the sauages fat provides enough.
turned out brillers!
next time frau chelts will try delias method of mixing milk and water with the batter mix which might make it rise more!
