Where to go from here?

I sat today in a similar seat to the Man Utd game last season, the game couldn't have been any different.

The nucleus of players is there, the peripheral players have changed. But, i was left wonderin quite HOW we could have been that bad today.

Safri, Shackell and in my opinion Brenna were superb, Shackell WILL play in the premiership with or without us. Safris technique and desire to win is top notch, he runs our team sittin in front of the back four and starting every foray forward. Brennan was very assured too, reminds me a bit like Bentley, looks wise but also a the way he controls a football.

Other than those three i would have to say that i was appalled with the quality on show. Worthington said the one thing we HAD today was quality, he is wrong, very wrong. Ashton was shockingly bad, he can't possibly play that badly again, but he did run his arse off, but i feel he was doing this to try and endeare himself to the fans not to the team. McKenzie was wastefull and not as energetic as usual. Huckerby looked injured, unfit and and low on confidence, he doesn't strike fear into defences anymore, Leeds left back was beaten on a few occassions only for Hucks to track back and play it to......Colin. Colin was obviously told not to advance past the half way line, he has no height, like our other full back Charlton, Colin looked lost, charlton was ok, but again shown up for a lack of physical presence. Fleming average. Marney average. Greeno average.

This is worrying me now, i am waiting for the team to dig in to the reserves of passion that they must have but time is passing us by, with each game this run goes on it will become ten times harder to turn it around.

IMO worthy needs new impotus. We NEED a creative midfielder to set up these chances to play with Safri. IF we could fill this void with quality that we have lost with Francis, then we can turn this around. Why on earth can't worthy see this fact?

But i'm not gonna worthy bash, the guy is legend, deserves time and i have full faith in his ability.
