midfield and forward linesbetter than competent, but our defence would probably shake against pacy attacks, of which there are far more at championship level.

However I did spend quite a bit of Saturday's match wondering if we might have done a bit better last season if we had managed to get Martin and Spillane back in January.

And then a bit more time wondering how we would have fared if Grant Holt had come to us what was it - three seasons ago - when he was first mooted.
