That link is a pretty smart laptop for what you get
Going cheap is fine, but you'll lose various bits. Ie getting one for ?250 instead of the ?319 one, will mean dropping 1-2gb of ram, and probably dropping from 250gb hard drive to 120gb
I just paid ?75 to a 1gb of ram installed on my old laptop, so you can see that the extra 2, as well as doubling hard drive is worth the ?75 extra
PC hardware is one of those things where looking for cheaper, doesn't mean value, it just means cheaper parts
Where as, if you're will to pay a little bit more, you're getting more a lot more for your money, and if when it comes to selling it, it'll still maintain it's value. Whilst going cheap for older parts, will still be older parts in years to come
