but then again i've never really agreed with historical labour ideollogy of "tax everything, then tax it again" to pay for millions of red-tape/admin wasted money for public services (when they sell the idea of funding say, new kidney machines, about 40% of that money goes elsewhere and not actually on the machines - - an ex of mine was an NHS Accountant!!!!) - also the "tax the rich" piolicy CAN backfire - one expample is John Dyson who wanted to double his production in wiltshire, but local high taxes made it more appealing to set the new factory up in Poland! - This he did, then eventually moved ALL production to Poland Thus end result is hundreds of British redundancies! The number of businessmen looking to take their business elsewhere is amazing!
