reading worthy's comments on the official site

makes me more convinced that the morrison bid was a put up job. I reckon worthy and bruce agreed that they would put in a bid that would force palace to up their offer. That way bruce got what he wanted for CM and worthy got a chance to make it look like he was trying to bring in an expensive player.
