Back From The Game

First point, that ref didnt have a clue. As soon as he gave the penalty he lost control of the game, and began to give stupid decisions all over the pitch. Some of the decisions he made we're just plain s**t and some of the bookings he gave out were just as amusing.

Never in a million years was that a penalty. Weston (i think) was looking for it, and Forster didnt even make contact with him. It was just a matter of Weston jumping over Forster and falling over, when he could have stayed up and tapped the ball into an empty goal. As for that c**t Jackson celebrating in front of the City fans...

If we hadn't of equalised it would have been harsh on us. With 11 men we were in control of the game and Gillingham resorted to hoofing it over the top. As soon as we were down to 10 we worked hard, closed them down pretty quickly and kept possession fairly well.

Rustys goal was a bit lucky on our part, but full credit to Holt for keeping it alive. I still dont have a clue what the Gills keeper was doing, looked like he thought the ball was going out and went to leave it.

Gillingham is going to be a difficult place for anyone to come to, i think. They play pretty direct, always looking for counter attacks, and when they do counter, they attack with a lot of pace.

A point away with 10 men? Think i'll take that. Could have had all 3 if the ref wasn't a mong.
