They were the first to go Android, but also do a lot of WM as well.

They tend to follow hand in hand with Samsung at the moment - Samsung release the Omnia, HTC release the Diamond. Samsung release the Omnia II, HTC release the Diamond 2.

They are pretty much the daddies when it comes to smartphones - Android for capactive screens and really snazzy UI, WM for ?ber-geeks and almost unlimited addons and programs. WM taking on capactive displays has been a no-no until now - something which has always made them lag behind the iPhone. Function wise, a WM will always beat the iPhone, but you have always got to work to get it there - it is not as good straight out of the box
