Sounds like Lamberts tactic in management

is the rid a squad of a lot of senior players, and do so quickly, thus leaving him with younger pros given a chance and an opportunity, which also means they respect Lambert, and won't speak out because of the chance they're getting

I say that, cos there was the Colchester player who said he was glad to be given a chance back in the team, cos Lambert had him training with the youngsters

Seems since Lambert has been here, Hoolahan and Doc have been instant banishments because of Doc's seniority in the team, and Hoolahan's desire to go/cockiness in ability

That leaves Russell, who it also appears, can join Doc in the not playing again cupboard

End result, a team mainly young, doing as their told, with experienced players who daren't speak out of line, or they'll join the others

It's one of those where, it'll either work or it won't. I don't think it's a great plan, but it's not the worst either

From what I've seen though, Lambert does seem to have a complex at anyone who is about/will to rock the boat in his eyes
