short fix required??

Ideally we really need a quality attacking midfielder who can make the jump to the top flight next year but there is only a matter of days until the transfer window closes so is it a good idea to go for a quick fix until January?
What about bringing back Andy Johnson as an attacking, goalscoring midfielder and before anyone states the obvious I am a cab driver and have no worries on that score.
Or if it's more of a forward Worthy wants then how about Dean Windarse he's still scoring goals for Bradford and nobody can critiscise his workrate.
That gives Worthy another four months to find our midfielder of the future.
Just a thought, and there are probably other players who could do a job for us short term.
