champs league is a bit pointless in this format

the top two will still be the top 2 even if a few bum results happen

accross the 8 groups, they'll probably be one shock, which won't feel like one, really. ie, Ath Madrid or someone will muck it up, but it still won't be a real biggy team to go out

I suppose the money needs to get made somehow

I was watching the besiktas game thinking "Liverpool lost here, and then drew with someone, and still went through, you don't watch the champs league anymore thinking there's any kind of edge"
