And am I correct in thinking we have no other recognised left-back, so that takes Lappin out of the equation for the midfield, right?
WRONG! According to that well known footballing mecca, Wikipedia(!), Rhoys Wiggins - Who? Number 22, that's who - is down as a left-back. Can you see him starting? No? Oh.
WRONGERER!!

So that leaves Whaley, Hoolahan, (in my eyes Spillane; he started playing in midfield for us and had plenty of spark about him there), Adeyemi, McVeigh, (Flown from the Nest has our academy lad) Dario Dumic (down as centre-mid/centre-back),
