Keeped missing peoples houses out, sometimes didn't shut the gate

sometimes forgot which houses insisted on the paper BEING PUSHED ALL THE WAY THROUGH, IT MUST BE PUSHED ALL THE WAY THROUGH, OR WE MAY GET BURGLED, sneaked a peek at page 3 of the Sun and Star on morning rounds, that sort of thing.
