Twitter just became genuinely useful for me!

When I upgraded my MacBook to Snow Leopard, my wireless printer stopped working. In fact it wouldn't work even if I plugged it in. I searched the Lexmark webpage for driver updates for Snow Leopard. They had nothing and no information telling you when they would be ready. I phoned them and they said maybe next month they will have a download ready.

So in venting my fury on twitter about Lexmark/Snow Leopard compatibility, I received a reply from a guy who produces drivers for Lexmark. He gave me his email address. I emailed him with my problem and my printer details and he sent me a driver for my printer within 2 days. Just installed it and it works perfect!

Just goes to show that Twitter is not completely useless!
