We won't win it, not convinced we ever will again.

For a country our size, with a league full of illegible players, I think winning the World Cup, at least with any kind of regularity, is too much to expect.

Getting to the last 8, and further on occasion, is about our natural level.
Not qualifying is a failure.
If we get to the semi's i'll view that as an achievement, especially considering our 7th place ranking indicates the last 8 is our level.

Losing in the semi's would of course be disappointing. but it a '1 game from the final' way not a 'england are s**t, Capello is s**t, the game is a mess, EVERYTHING IS SHIT LETS SMASH SOMETHING UP' type of way.
