Slate them if you feel they have failed, prasie them for securing a conviction in this case.
Remember, its not just about catching them and KNOWING they are guilty, its about ensuring they do everything spot on, so no lawyer can break the conviction on technicalities, and the evidence is there to persuade a jury.
