Assume you're talking about your son

When I was at Poly* doing Computing, Maths was not required. Presumably it depends on the entrance criteria for any given college and that's their perogative; but it's a bit short sighted of them in my opinion.

* I went to North Staffs, which is now a uni and was considered one of the best places for studying Computing - don't know about now; but they built a spiffy new computer centre after I left. Stafford's a bit boring though ...
