For whats its worth...

When i went to the open day at the UEA this year for the computing course, one of the guys who showed us around (his on the comp course there) only got a D in maths at GCSE, he said that the UEA dont consider it the be all and end all, however he found it a bit of a stugle when it came to the parts of the course that required maths, but the tutors are more than willing to help
