It's been a strange start to the season

The newbies - Gunny bought them all, apart from the new giant keeper, who is a loon and the Klit who everyone assumes was down to Crooky, but he?s not owned up to it to McNally yet.

I?d no idea who half of the new players were, so much so that I arrived 30 minutes early to see them warm up against Col U. Then Lambert got rid of half of them, so I had to turn up early to the next game to find out who all the other new players were, apart from McVeigh.

Paul Lambert was smuggled in from Colchester who are still very annoyed about it, and threatening things to McNally who is sitting on Neil Doncaster?s old seat, stroking a white cat, laughing manically just like arch-villian Blofeld did in the James Bond films.

And we even won away.
