to my previous post. We keep banging on about past glories. The cup runs, etc. No one outside of the ncfc community cares. In the past, Norwich fanzines poked fun at Ipswich for the same thing. Are we not in danger of becoming our own enemies. As to Bryan Gunn. Yes he is a legend as should be treated as such. That does not mean he is/was going to be a manager for us. We do not owe him a job for life. He had his chance as our manager since he was put in charge after Roeder was sacked. Surely a squad becomes yours after you become the manager. Yes they should of halded his dismissal a hell of a lot better. We have always been seen as a "nice" family club. How many clubs are seen as this nowadays. Football is a cuthroat buisness with no room for sentiment. No - one gives a flying if we are thw only team who does. As far as they are concerened, we are only moaners who complain that we do not have much, that we are not sucssesful because of the other teams greed. It is a dog eat dog world nowadays and complaining does not help. we need to get a nasty streak and fast or people will keep on walkig all over us till we are dead and buried. And they will not shed a tear at our pasing.
