A Dose

of reality? - Norwich may have won today, but how many of us think we should even be in league one?. To me, we are now finding our natural level in footballing life. a small team with a big team attitude. We can only have a statium and associated facilities as good as the league above us. how often do we hear that we have premier league standard facilities - who outside of the club cares, We whine about the money that the "big" teams get - who cares? Most teams probably say " we have to go to Norwich again!". The press say the same- as far as they are concered, we are are backwater which is a drag to get to who does not interest them in the slightest. We are still a place which is only good for making inbred jokes at. As I have said above about money, most potential investors will say " Norwich - where's that then". None will want to put money into what they pecieve as a club that is " up there where abouts" The attiude of the board does harm when it says we are looking for an idiot to put money into a football club with little return. Well, as a shareholder in companies, I look for a dividend - any investor looks for a return for their money. I would love for the team to prove me wrong, but I think we are in league one for the long run. A control freak chef as the main shareholder ( what chef isn't) who despite what the board says, wants to make a profit on their shares and probably will want to stay in control if a buyer does come in with an offer at the price they have setthat price has come down, wheteher they realise it or not. No-one will put 56 million into a league one side! I apologise for this rant. I jnow it will not be to everyones liking. But that is the point of this forum is it not? Any one who is a member can put their thoughts, hopes and dreams on it. Here's hoping that the lads prove me wrong and push onto promotion back to the championship.
