Despite their history of it, people seem to want to ignore it.

I'm not suprised this is coming back, the old idiots are finding a new generation of young idiots who seem to think its cool again. Its giving them the licence and motivation to get back into the 'game'.

While we continue to allow the violence and shame of football in the 70's and 80's to be romanticised on film and in other media this is what is going to happen.

The kids don't know where this leads, they didn't experience when being a football fan made you a second class citizen, to be treated with contempt.

Scenes like this sadden me, I don't want to go back to that.
